What are they running around for?

bú huì zuò  bú yào  xiā zuò

If you don’t know how to do it, don’t do it.

早就       

zăo jiù   

+verb did something long time ago

 

我早就去过英国了。

wŏ zăo jiù  qù guò  yīng guó  le 。

I have been to England ages ago.

我早就说过他会赢。

wŏ zăo jiù  shuō guò  tā huì yíng 。

I said he will wine earlier.

adjective comparative sentence

 

你的书比我的书多。

nĭ de shū  bĭ  wŏ de shū  duō 。

Your books are more than mine.

你的中文比我的中文好。

nĭ de  zhōng wén  bĭ  wŏ de  zhōng wén  hăo 。

Your Chinese is better than mine.

A is much more than B

 

今天比昨天冷得多。

jīn tiān  bĭ  zuó tiān  lĕng de duō 。

Today is much colder than yesterday.

他的哥哥比他高得多。

tā de gē ge  bĭ  tā  gāo de duō 。

His older brother is much taller than him.

lăo 

often,always. Complaining tone( spoken version of 总是 )

 

他老迟到。

tā  lăo  chí dào 。

He always late.

 

我老在家等你。

wŏ  lăo zài  jiā  dĕng nĭ 。

I often waited for you at home.
