整    

zhĕng      

is a adjective. It is used in front of the quantifiers for noun to describe all different situations.

 

我整个晚上都没睡觉。

wŏ zhĕng gè wăn shàng dōu méi shuì jiào 。

I didn’t sleep all night.

 

他整天在家无所事事。

tā zhĕng tiān zài jiā wú suŏ shì shì 。
He stays at home and does nothing all day long.

都      

dōu      

is a modal adverb, it is used in informal language to emphasize the level of a situation.

 

我和他都五年多没有见了。

wŏ hé tā dōu wŭ nián duō méi yŏu jiàn le 。
We haven’t seen each other for five years.

 

这个女人早都不是那个如花似玉的少女了。

zhè ge nǚ ren zăo dōu bú shi nà ge rú huā sì yù de shào nǚ le 。
The woman isn’t charming anymore.

 

如果…的话     

rú guŏ...de huà    

is mostly used in a hypothesize situation in oral Chinese. We can also use “如果” rú guŏ  and “的话”  de huà separately.

 

如果明天不下雨的话,我们就去公园。

rú guŏ míng tiān bú xià yŭ de huà , wŏ men jiù qù gōng yuán 。
We will go to the park, if it doesn’t rain tomorrow.

 

如果我是你的话,我一定不会做这个决定。

rú guŏ wŏ shì nĭ de huà , wŏ yí dìng bú huì zuò zhè ge jué dìng 。
If I were you, I wouldn’t have made the decision.
